Thank you for visiting. If you’d like to support Season 1, here’s what that could look like.
The Sprout Speakers Championship is Kenya’s first national platform where children are heard on the country they are growing up in. Below is what Season 1 needs, broken down by area, in case any of it lines up with what your organisation does.
- Reaches families in every county
- Free for every child, always
- Ages 6 to 17, three age groups
- One Founding Partner slot still open
One Founding Partner slot is still open
The first organisation to confirm becomes Founding Partner for Season 1, with naming rights across the championship and pride of place at the Grand Final.
Public speaking is what people see. Here is what we are actually building.
A place where children are heard on the issues shaping their country, safely, fairly, and at no cost to their families. Every part of that, from a child’s first recording at home to the stage in Nairobi, depends on something specific coming together.
That is what a partnership here supports. Not a single event, but a growing audience for children’s voices, one that includes the adults responsible for their future.
Season 1 has eleven different needs.
Each one is a real gap on our production list, and each one is best suited to a different kind of partner. Cash, in-kind and private support are all welcome.
Education & Leadership
Coaching clinics, scholarships and mentors so a strong finalist gets real, ongoing development, not just a trophy.
Best suited to: banks, foundations, education-focused companies.
Technology & Connectivity
Video hosting, mobile data bundles and devices, so a child without reliable internet can still enter and be seen.
Best suited to: telecoms, cloud and device companies.
Media & Broadcast
Launch coverage, features on individual speeches, and broadcast of the Grand Final, so more families hear about this.
Best suited to: TV, radio and digital publishers.
Access & Inclusion
Travel support, data bundles and disability accommodations, so where a child lives never decides whether they can enter.
Best suited to: donors, foundations, development agencies.
Safeguarding
Policy review, training for our team, and child-protection staffing at every live event, so every family can trust the process.
Best suited to: child-rights organisations, legal firms, insurers.
Venue & Hospitality
The Grand Final venue, rehearsal space, catering and a proper waiting area for families on the day.
Best suited to: hotels, event spaces, catering companies.
Travel & Mobility
Getting finalists and their families from anywhere in Kenya to Nairobi, and back, safely and on time.
Best suited to: airlines, rail, bus and transport companies.
Awards & Merchandise
Trophies, certificates, books and finalist packs, so every child who reaches the stage leaves with something to keep.
Best suited to: printers, publishers, retailers.
Health & Wellbeing
Meals, first aid and event medical cover, so families can focus on their child’s moment, not logistics.
Best suited to: health providers, insurers, food and drink brands.
Monitoring & Research
Participant surveys and a national child-voice report, turning Season 1 into evidence, not just an event.
Best suited to: universities, research bodies, professional-services firms.
Community Amplification
No funding needed. Just tell your parents, congregation or network this exists. Reach is its own kind of support.
Best suited to: schools, churches, parent groups, county networks.
The same terms apply to every partner.
This is agreed with every partner before any support begins.
